Seasonal Service Request Terms

These terms help us protect your boat, plan the work correctly, and avoid surprises.

Read the service request terms
  1. Request and scheduling. Submitting this form requests service only. Work, haul-out, launch, pickup, and completion dates are not confirmed until J3 Marine accepts the request and contacts you.
  2. Pricing and additional work. Displayed prices are current starting prices unless stated otherwise. Parts, materials, tax, disposal, excessive growth, difficult access, prior damage, and conditions discovered during service may result in additional charges. J3 Marine will seek approval before performing material work outside the selected scope, except when reasonably necessary to protect the boat or address an immediate safety concern.
  3. Accurate boat information and access. The customer confirms that the boat and system information provided is accurate, that all systems requiring service have been identified, and that J3 Marine will have safe and timely access to the boat, keys, batteries, compartments, and equipment.
  4. Freezing conditions. The boat must be delivered or made accessible before freezing conditions. J3 Marine cannot prevent or correct freeze damage that occurs before the boat is available, before the request is accepted and scheduled, or in undisclosed, inaccessible, or previously damaged systems.
  5. Customer authority and belongings. The person submitting this request confirms they are the owner or are authorized by the owner to request service. Personal valuables, loose electronics, and other property should be removed or secured before service.
  6. Inspection and confirmation. J3 Marine may contact the customer to clarify selections, recommend additional service, or provide a revised estimate. The customer remains responsible for reviewing the confirmed scope before work begins.
